What to do in Brussels - Travelling in Belgium

         We loved our trip to Brussels, The city is very beautiful and people were very friendly to us. Everybody speaks english, so we had no problem to ask for information.

First a few pictures to make you want to go to Brussels even more, follow pictures of the Atomium, de Rue de Bouchers and the Grand Place.

We arrived in Brussels in the Central Station, we took a bath in the train station because we were traveling in a night train. There is a service in the train station where you pay and you can take a good shower.
We started our day heading to the Atomium by metro, you can see how to do it in the map bellow.

We didn't go inside the Atomium because a few friends that went there previously said it wasn't a big deal. So we took a few pictures and we went back to the Central Station. If you wish to visit the Mini-Europe is quite close to the Atomium.

When we arrived back to the Central Station we went walking to the places in the red circles in the map bellow.

Close to the Grand Place and close to some touristic points, you can find the famous and best waffle in the world. It was our breakfast/brunch. And the Rue de Bouchers is a great place to have lunch, there are great options of food and the place is very beautiful.
I really don't need to talk about Belgium chocolates, do I? You can find them all over the city. There are lots of kinds of Belgium chocolates, all delicious!

We are not big fans of beer, but for those who like beer, here is the place! Lots of restaurants offer the option of tate many kinds of beer.

I just had one day in Brussels, and I couldn't do much. But for sure I want to come back and visit more places. I think 3 days would be enought to visit to the touristic places. And the city itself is a lovely place wherever you go.

Writing this post made me want to come back and spend a few more days in Brussels, I already have another places that I want to visit.
