Actually, I had a six hours connection in Amsterdam, but I planned an one hour tour cause I wanted to do a few shopping and have a nice meal in a restaurant.
Well, if you want to remeber what I planned, it's here.
So when I left the central station and I visited Zara and H&M on my way to tour, I saw that lots of things were on sale (yes!) and I decided to go back before I leave the city so I didn't have to carry bags around.
I went directly to Wijdesteeg, that cute colorful street that you can find easily googling it. After 20 minutes going around and around the address that I found on internet, I asked for the place in a store close to it.. I have some news for you, Wijdesteeg doesn't exists anymore. Yes.. :( That was my face when that man in that store told me that. I mean.. really? I think it was there for just a few years, cause he told me they put the place down like one year ago.
But we are in Amsterdam and we have just a few hours here, so let's not regreat and I headed to Kapitein Zeppos. I was obsessed with this restaurant. I was sooo cute and colorful and I had a nice meal there. I confess that a glass of wine would be perfect with that meal, but I find so depressing drinking alone.. than I had some orange juice instead. See the picture of Zeppos here:
Then I went to the Iamsterdam Sign, It was pretty cool that it was winter time and the square was looking like this:
I met a girl from Singapure and as she was traveling alone, we made company to each another. As it was getting dark and I wanted to go back to the stores to buy a few things, I didn't go to Vondelpark.
My new friend was hungry, so I took her to Zeppos (she loved, of course), and I went to the stores to buy my stuff.
All finished, I took the train to te airport.
